SOFTPAD™ TECHNOLOGY

The patented system provides perfect stability while wearing glasses and full adaptability to the face.

TREATMENT AGAINST FOGGING

The several μm thick film lining the whole inner surface of the lens reduces condensation by absorbing moisture. This technology ensures work safety in a harsh environment.

TREATMENT AGAINST SCRATCHES

Treatment of the outer surface of the lens, the hardness of which prevents damages to the surface that may impair vision while wearing glasses. It is ideal for work in a dusty environment.

EUROPEAN STANDARDS

Basic standards:

EN 166 Personal eye protection

EN 1836:2005 + A1: 2007 Personal eye protection – Sunglasses, sun filters for general use and filters for direct observation of the sun

Standards for specific applications:

EN 170 Personal eye protection – Ultraviolet filters. Transmittance requirements and recommended use

EN 172 Personal eye protection – Sunglare filters for industrial use

PROTECTION AGAINST IMPACT

    • F = resistant to impact with low energy (45 m / sec) = flying particles, dust
    • B = impact with medieum energy (120 m/s)
    • T = protects against impact at extreme temperatures (-5 ° C, +55 ° C)

Note: The test is being performed with a steel ball with a diameter of 6 mm (weight 0.83 g) and the appropriate speed (m/s).

OPTICAL CLASSES

They define the distortion of images caused by the means of eye protection.

  • Optical class 1 = no distortion or indistinguishable to the user
  • Optical class 2 = minor distortion, which does not prevent long-term wear of the eye protection
  • Optical class 3 = major distortion, this eye protection cannot be worn long-term

SUNGLASSES

    • Degree of protection 0-1 Suitable for weaker sunlight, or as protection against strong wind and dust. In general, the majority of fashion glasses meet this.
    • Degree of protection 2 For common wear and medium strong sunlight.
    • Degree of protection 3 Suitable for nature, less ideal for wearing in the car.
    • Degree of protection 4 Not recommended for wearing in the car, more suitable for the mountains, seaside or in winter months.
